Adrian Berg lives and works in East Sussex. His work is in over 30 public collections. Exhibits regularly at the Piccadilly Gallery, London.

• 1949-52: Studies medicine and English at Cambridge University. Then achieves a higher diploma in Education at Trinity College, Dublin.

• 1955-61: Studies at St Martin’s, Chelsea School of Art and the Royal College of Art

• 1964-75: 5 solo exhibitions at Arthur Tooth & Sons, London

• 1973: Gold Medal winner at the Florence Biennale

• 1978-83: 3 solo exhibitions at Waddington Galleries, London

• 1980: Retrospective at the Rochdale Art Gallery. A prize winner at the John Moores Liverpool Exhibition

• 1982: A prize winner at the John Moores Liverpool Exhibition

• 1985-99: 6 solo exhibitions at the Piccadilly Gallery, London

• 1986: Exhibition at the Serpentine Gallery. Exhibition travels to Walker Art Gallery, Liverpool and to the Polytechnic Gallery, Newcastle-upon-Tyne

• 1987: The National Trust’s Foundation for Art Award

• 1987-88: Senior tutor at the Royal College of Art

• 1992: Royal Academician. Solo exhibitions at the Brighton Festival; the Gardner Centre; The University of Sussex

• 1993: Solo exhibition at Concourse Gallery, Barbican, London. Exhibition subsequently tours

• 1994: Made an Honorary Fellow of the Royal College of Art. Solo exhibition at the Rye Art Gallery

• 1995: National Trust commission him to paint watercolours

• 1999: Solo exhibition in the Friends Room at the Royal Academy of Arts and at the Piccadilly Gallery
