- VUILLARD, Edouard
- Edouard Vuillard was a Nabi and an Intimist painter and decorator whose career closely paralleled that of his friend Bonnard, but who, in many ways, is closer to Sickert. He experimented with mixed media and also made colour lithographs.
There are pictures by him in Birmingham, Boston, Bristol, Cambridge Mass. (Fogg), Cleveland Ohio, Edinburgh (NG), Glasgow, Liverpool, London (NG, Tate, Courtauld Inst.), Manchester (Whitworth), New York (M of MA), Northampton Mass., (Paris (Mus. d'Orsay, Mus d'Art Mod.), Toronto and Washington (Phillips), and decorations in Paris (Comedie des Champs-Elysees), Pal. de Chaillot) and Geneva (League of Nations).
