Gus Cummins lives and works in Hastings. He is a member of The London Group. The work he has in public collections includes three in Hastings: Hastings Museum, Hastings Library and St Mary-in-the-Castle Arts Centre, Hastings.
He has held teaching jobs in many art colleges from the 1970s onwards including Hammersmith College of Art and Building, Sutton College of Liberal Arts, Croydon College of Art, Hastings College of Arts and Technology, Wimbledon School of Art and Ravensbourne College of Art and Communication, Chelsea School of Art and at City & Guilds of London Art School, Prince’s Foundation and the Royal Academy Schools.
He has participated in many group exhibitions including exhibitions at the Mall Galleries and the National Portrait Gallery,
