Lorenzo di Credi was the fellow-pupil of Leonardo under
Verrocchio. He became Verrocchio's principal assistant and was in his shop
from 1480/81 right up to when Verrocchio died in 1488.
His work today is remembered as the work of a kind of poor man's Leonardo.
