Sylvian/Sakamoto - Forbidden Colours

June 2016: as per the back cover of the 1983 Japanese 7" release of Forbidden Colours, Sylvian wrote the lyrics to the song on 16, February 1983. On that day (a Wednesday) Ronald Reagan was US President and Andropov leader of the Soviet Union (remember the time after Brezhnev had finally shuffled off this mortal coil when the Russian leaders seemed to come and go at a drop of a hat until Gorbachev was the last man standing, it seemed?)...more.

June 2016: With Hypergraphia being the label's final release, it's means that unless another record company takes the back catalogue on then at some point the releases will dry up as they're no longer made. No shit, Sherlock, you might say or statin' the bledin' obvious ... whatever, but the outcome will be that the prices for titles that do appear on secondary markets will go up and up. This is already true with Uncommon Deities where prices are all over the place...more.

Japan - Assemblage Cassette Misprint

Here's a weird one. The Assemblage (Special Edition - Double Play, ZCHAN 1) UK cassette release from the 1980s. Yes it's 'special' but not in the way Hansa would like. The reverse of the pic slv. has details of a Bee Gees release! June 2016: 1 in stock. More details and photos here.

Russell Mills Sale - April 2016:

Lowered the prices on many Russell Mills items. Many have sold but there are some wonderful items left including a few of the Ember Glance drawings (these have all sold as of Sept. 2016), the paintings used for the covers of the Samuel Beckett books, the painting used for the Light Years book published by Faber & Faber, and the Third Uncle Mixed Media Painting used for the book with Brian Eno (and obviously they are all a one off and can never be replaced). They make a unique and wonderful gift for any Sylvian/Mills/Eno collector.

Obviously, the one off items can never be replaced but I won't be replacing the other Russell Mills items in multiples like posters once they sell out so catch them while I still have them. And nothing is in great quantities to start with.
