DESCRIPTION:

I've only ever seen one of these postcard books and this is it. It's as if it was on sale for a very short time during the major Mark Rothko exhibition at the Tate in 2008 and then was pulled immediately. I mean, try and find info. about it elsewhere.

The 16 cards are detachable and are houses in a card slipcase. First page is a brief introduction to Rothko. Details of each painting is on the reverse with where the original resides. Stunning. I have scanned many of the pieces below.

CONDITION:

New. Back cover has slight shelf wear in places (see scans). 1 in stock as of Oct. 12.
