Natasha was planning to study law, but after a school production of the musical Chicago she was persuaded to go instead to the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
Her first professional acting job was in The Tenth Man at the Hampstead Theatre, and she was soon talent-spotted for the television role of Jenny in London's Burning. Since then, she has been constantly in work, and is well known for her habit of knitting while waiting around on sets.
Natasha lives in East London with a cat called Sylvia and her husband, the actor Bo Poraj, whom she married on New Year's Eve, 31 December 2003, at Leytonstone, London.
