NOTES ON RELEASE TYPE

This release comes in a jewel case in a cardboard slipcase with new artwork not on the original album. There is a twenty-eight page booklet which contains an excerpt from the book 'My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' by Amos Tutola, 'My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' (an essay by David Toop 22 Jan 2005) and 'The Making Of My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts' by David Byrne with Brian Eno April 2005.

From Toop's essay I gleaned that Amos Tutuola's novel My Life in the Bush of Ghosts was published in London in 1952.

Tutuola writes about "telephone-handed ghostess".

Dylan Thomas described his writing as "thronged, grisly and bewitching".

The tribulations of a young boy who finds himself in a parallel world of weird, frightening ghosts.

Tracks on Side 3 are previously unreleased.

Enhanced Content is the video of 'Mea Culpa' in QuickTime format.

The Making Of My Life In The Bush Of Ghosts by David Byrne with Brian Eno is fascinating. So much info. on how it came about, the found voices and how it influenced Remain in Light by Talking Heads which came straight after. There's so much more; he somehow gives light to the stangeness of it all.
