Heavenly fluffy beyond words, Patricia T. Arquette is so underrated, so talented of actresses, that it makes one want to weep. Now in her 40s it's hard to believe that the fluffily divine Patricia has been in movies since 1987 (that's over 20 long years. Cruelly, in all that time she has never achieved mega-stardom. Even her marriage to superstar actor Nicolas Cage from 1995-2001 failed to raise her profile though she obviously married Mr. Cage because he is a hunk.

Patricia Arquette grew up with her family in a commune near Arlington, Virginia. She is the 3rd youngest (or 3rd oldest) child of 5 to parents Lewis Arquette and Mardi. The full brood of Arquette children from oldest to youngest are: Rosanna Arquette (almost a decade older, famous in her own right, and though fluffy in her own right not quite as divine, though she did once go out with Peter Gabriel), Richmond (5 years older), Alexis Arquette (one year younger) and David Arquette (three years younger).

Quite alot of Arquettes. Well, whether there were too many or whether it was to try and find her own identity, I don't know, whatever the reason is not crystal clear, but at 15, she ran away from home to live with Rosanna and to try and get into acting. Perhaps it was nothing more sinister than that: that she wanted to be an actress and the media looked too far into her reasons for leaving home at such a tender age.

Anyway, by 18 she was in the movies. Pretty Smart (1987) amd A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987)were movies to tell the world she had arrived.

Taking a break from the movies she had a son, Enzo, in 1989 with Paul Rossi helping her by being the father. Such a break could be considered the calm before the storm in the career of Patricia for thereafter her career took off with movies such as True Romance (1993), Beyond Rangoon (1995), Ethan Frome (1993), Lost Highway (1997) and Flirting with Disaster (1996). Highlight of her TV work has been Wildflower (1991) (TV).

She continues to embrace both film and TV though filmwise the roles have become more low-key than in the 1990s.
