Robert Campin is known to have been a painter active in Tournai from 1406. No pictures are known certainly to be his, but he had two pupils, Jacques Daret and (probaly) Roger van der Weyden: he may therefore be identical with the Master of Flemalle.

London (NG) has a tiny Virgin and Child in an Interior acquired in 1993, and a portrait of a man attributed to him acquired in 1966; St Petersburg also has a similar Virgin and Child.
