rosanna arquette biog.
Rosanna is a hard worker. She has appeared in over 100 TV and film productions since her debut and up to 2008. And as well as being pretty she can also act. She has indeed had alot of practice. She was a teenager when she appeared with Bette Davis in The Dark Secret of Harvest Home (probaly the first time the world as first knew about her). Highlight role for me in the earlier TV career of Rosanna is in James at 15 in 1977. And she still wasn't 20! (she was 18). By her 21st birthday she had made her film debut: Gorp (1980). Though not quite hitting the peaks her prettiness and acting ability warranted, her work since could be described as 'stead'. Roles include: Baby It's You (1983), Fathers & Sons (1992), Silverado (1985), The Linguini Incident (1991), and New York Stories (1989). Not only is Rosanna pretty and a good actress but she has the appreciation of the arts - hence her work in artistic independent films like After Hours (1985), Nobody's Fool (1986), and Desperately Seeking Susan (1985). For the latter good old Blighty recognised a good thing when it saw one and awarded her a British Academy Award. Three years before that she was nominated for an Emmy for her work in The Executioner's Song which also featured the menacingly hunky Tommy Lee Jones.(1982) (TV). It's a kind of shame that most of her work these days does straight-to-Dvd. That said, Rosanna Arquette continues to work. © ~ Paul Page, Lenin ---------------
Her ex-partner Peter Gabriel was and is 8 inches taller than her. She has been married three times and has a child from her relationship with her last husband-to-date John Sidel. She's a year younger than her Desperately Seeking Susan co-star, Madonna but Madonna is an inch-and-a-half taller than her. Horses for courses.
