Located near Uckfield in Sussex, Sheffield Park Garden is a combination of an 18th century landscape overlaid with a 20th century planting scheme. It is a bold composition of predominately trees and shrubs, planted around five large lakes. Open all year - each season brings a different beautiful vista to enjoy. Spring brings an amazing array of colour from the rhododendrons, azaleas and kalmias. Summer is the best time ro enjoy the rare waterlilies.

of Autumn colours in the country!

Winter walks around the garden are tranquil and a good opportunity to enjoy the structure of the plants and the large confier collection. Across the driveway, South Park provides beautiful countryside walks all year round!

Most of the exterior shots for the film were filemd at Sheffield Park Garden near Uckfield, Sussex. The gardens are now owned by the NT though on my visit in November 2010 I found out that Sheffield Park House is privately owned and has been split into 5 luxurious flats.
