Vincenzo Catena was a Venetian painter. By 1506, after being an imitator of
Giovanni Bellini and Cima, he had entered into some kind of partnership with Giorgione.
Giorgione's work was an influence on his work long after his death in 1510, but not the only one. Palma Vecchio and Titian were great influences in the last years of his life.
