In the London of the swinging 60's a reclusive professor becomes infatuated with a beautiful model Penny Lane
(Jane Birkin), the girlfriend of a Svengali like fashion photographer (Iain Quarrier). The professor embarks on a noble quest to become her champion.

Released for a short time in 1998, designed and produced by Tuch Design, this special collector's edition of director
Joe Massot's 1968 psychedelic film, soundtracked by George Harrison, is an awesome and now mega rare find. Contained in a box illustrated by Marijke of 60s art co-op The Fool are dvds, a cd and 7" single, reproduction film poster and two books. One is a black and white screen play of the movie, the other is a 120 page fully illustrated story of the creation, rediscovery and restoration of the film and soundtrack, a story involving the Beatles, Jane Birkin, Warren Beaty, Irene Handel and Charles Manson... Joe could tell a good tale.
Two limited editions were produced in the UK, for domestic market and for export to US. This is the UK release. Box extensively scanned below.
Condition: as per scans below. New and sealed. Card outer box sleeve has slight wear around the edge in places which can be seen in the scans. 1 in stock.
