...Heck, he's been around so long there's a once removed connection to Captain Scott from well over 100 years as he was good friends with his son, Peter Scott.
And here we see how through the years just how much we have lost, how much we are losing, through his eyes and just how the world has grown from the days when he was a boy growing up in Leicester.
The figures at the top of pages (see above) are astonishing. Just look at the population sizes and carbon in atmosphere figures for 1937 and 1968 and try and cOmprehend what they actually mean. I still can't get my head around them. Then read about his life at those stages and how he has arrived to the hear and now and what it means for the future beyond the door...
