UK 111-page A4 size softback book providing a witty and exciting collage of original text, song lyrics and contemporary writing of the musical featuring David Bowie and Sade, also included are over 150 photographs.

Looking back, this was a hard time for the Bowie fan. If you think about it, up to Scary Monsters he must of been the biggest cult in the world. Then came Let's Dance and he went global, Phil Collins stadium BIG, and thereafter came a period where, I think, he couldn't decide whether to make music for the fewer or music for the masses. This was bang in the middle of that period and is probaly, with Labyrinth the best thing he did in that period no matter what the medium.

The film itself isn't a bad film. It's not a great film but it isn't as bad as the critics made out. The problem with the film is that it was just so overhyped when it came out originally in the UK. It was hailed as 'the saviour of British cinema' when it was never anything of the sort. Really daft to hype it in such a way and it never really recovered.
