Biography

The biography is informative as I always prefer those done in date order. For example, did you know Bacon's father sent him to Berlin in 1927 in an extreme attempt to save his son from a libertine and dissolute way of life. Just one random fact in quite an extensive list of facts at the back of the book. I did enjoy that part of the book more than Luigi Ficacci's main text though that is not to say it wasn't informative.
