Header Photo: The iconic Jesse Owens at the Berlin Olympics, 1936. Did you know that on his return from the Berlin Olympics and in transit on his way back to the US, Jesse found himself at Croydon Airport, UK. Unable to find a hotel he had to sleep at a hanger in the Airport.
Can you imagine that? Probaly the most famous sportsman ever and because of society at the time he had to sleep there.
Just saying the words: "Jesse Owen" outloud sounds like a poetic phrase, A name from the ghosts of icons past.
