It seemed to take forever to be released and, as I remember, the release date was postponed several times. When it came it was well publicised in the UK, well promoted, with a whole shop front devoted to its artwork at the old Tower Records in Piccadilly Circus, London. The artwork, for me, is really the most beautiful part of the album - it really is beautifully done, almost Chagall-like, and is up there with anything devoted to an album cover. That's not to say the music isn't good - it is but to these ears it seems as though it was 'produced' to an inch of its life. Still that's just me for there are many out there who have waxed lyrical about the beauty of some of the tracks. It's just as a whole it just doesn't quite reach the heights of Secrets of the Beehive or Gone to Earth. But it's still a better listen than most stuff produced at the time. 1.
