New page with Diana Dors book & magazine images just scanned. They are so new that I haven't created a review page for them yet but thought I'd share with you! Once the revelant page is completed they will disappear from here.
The idea is to scan every magazine and book Diana Dors has appeared on. I have started off with French ones but it is only a start so any help would be gratefully appreciated. If you have any scans why not e-mail me (ihuppert5@aol.com) me them here and I'll put them up. Or, if you prefer, you can send me your unwanted books and magazines and I can scan them. If like me you are of a certain age you will remember Diana as a kid appearing in the Adam & the Ants video and on numerous programmes on UK TV. That was in the early 80s and though she was stunning then she was even more amazing before then, in the 50s when she was a deadringer for Marilyn Monroe as the magazines below will testify to. The 1957 Cinemonde cover below is up there with the most alluring covers ever printed! Sensational and I wish I had a bigger scan for you to see!
And she was a fine actress. For example, I saw her in the 1950s Carol Reed film A Kid for Two Farthings and she more than held her own with Celia Johnson and Brenda De Banzie. And anyone who can match two of the greatest actresses Britain has ever produced is up there witht he best.
