How many faces do you see on this cover? Two? Or one big face with piercing, staring eyes and twinkling teeth?
This cover was done for 'real' by Storm Thorgerson. The two sculptures were conceived by Keith Breeden; they were constructed out of metal sheets riveted together. They ended up as high as a double-decker bus.
The band loved them, so much so that a further two heads were made in stone. The metal heads appear on the CD cover and the stone heas on the cassette and in the tour book.
