biography
Peter Blake is the alchemist among not only his generation of pop artists but all who have come after them. His pictures enjoy a popularity no other artist can rach through his adornment of album covers from The Beatles to Paul Weller and all that lie in-between. I mean, think about it: can you picture 'Sgt Peppers' in your mind's eye without reference to that cover? Would it even be the same album without that cover. The magic of art, of Peter Blake's art.

18.01.13: postcard gallery
I know of few artists who have used the postcard as a work of art in itself (maybe Gilbert & George rivial him, thinking about it?). There have been extensive postcard reproductions of his work from all over the world and having searched for them online and finding little of interest I have decided to start a Peter Blake postcard gallery here. I'll start off with a couple of images but I really need your help to extent it by adding scans. If you have any postcards, whether signed or unsigned, from anywhere in the world, and would lie them to appear here, please e-mail me here (ihuppert5@aol.com) with the scan. As big as possible would be good and details of the card also like where it was produced, title of picture etc and year it was produced. I will then get it up on here and give you attribution of the scan on the page.
