DESCRIPTION:
There are things I love with official rock merchandise and things I hate. The things I hate are the items without even a trace of imagination. You know, get a famous image, a famous album cover say, and screenprint it on a t-shirt. Screenprint it for all it's worth; screenprint it to death. No harm in that and I'm sure they sell by the lorry-load but wouldn't it be more interesting if the band or manufacturers went to the original designers of the album cover and asked them to come up with something original, something from the time the album was conceived and wasn't used at the time. Even something only slightly different from the bog-standard release would be welcomed. Well by me anyway.

Things I love are things like this. Something out of the ordinary. Something you don't expect. A tin set with playing cards of fantastic imagery is as good as it gets, well with official merchandise. And the quality of any official release from a band of this magnitude is always the best.

I love it. I've scanned the tin below from every angle for no other reason than I want to capture every inch of it. Sad I know but it is beautiful.

And unusual. Which is what counts for me.
