        What we are offering here is superb original pen & ink drawing, depicting ducks on a river.

        We have been unable to trace the artist D.A Thelwell, any comments welcome.

        The artwork is signed to bottom right.

        The artist has kindly contacted me with more details.

        It's a drawing of mallards and coots and the River Itchen in Hampshire. It was done for The Countryman, for an article about President Roosevelt and (Foreign Minister) Lord Gray’s walk along the Itchen, a hundred years ago.
