| Marlene Dietrich Introduction Search Site Ah, Just A Gigolo. The stuff of legends. Luring Marlene Dietrich from her Parisian retirement with the colour of money; Bowie and Dietrich in the same scene but, er, never actually meeting; Bowie at the time describing the movie as his 30-odd Elvis movies rolled into one...30-plus-years later and it is now a cult movie mainly because of the aforementioned reasons. I have always thought there would be a great market for reproduction posters at realistic and reasonable prices that captured the several promotional posters that were produced for its release. . Hitherto that hasn't been the case and the ones that were on the market were at silly prices. Until now. Movie reproduction posters are usually an inexpensive way to start a collection, I bought through Amazon marletplace sellers in the US and some of the ones I got are below. I wanted to show them against a black background as I think they look far more striking (the artist and architect Hundertwasser always advocated having his work shown against a black background).
