Marjorie Wilding ~ Children Charming piece. A study drawing of 2 children. Pastel. Image size: 15" x 13" inches. Comes with mount.

Signed and dated bottom right. 1971. Condition: used. Drawn on thick coloured pastel paper with some light marks and creases to the paper (please see scans below). Mount could do with replacing.

Marjorie Wilding (1909 - 2009 ) was a portrait painter and studied at the Slade School of Art. She had close contacts with many theatre and cinema personalities through her husband Alistair, the brother of actor Michael wilding, who was married to Elizabeth Taylor.
