A collection of vintage UK newspaper clippings from over the years relating to Greta Garbo.
I found these carefully enclosed in a book on Garbo which I purchased from an antiques dealer. Now someone, now probaly dead, has kept them because they meant so much to him/her and kept them safe. Seeing them makes me feel in the presence of another time, another life.
As for Garbo, they give you glimpses into various periods of her life as seen from the perspective of newspapers. View got near her and yet that was the very reason interest grew in her.
Included is one about Garbo being invited to Winston Churchill's golden wedding anniversary. 7 clippings in total.
