Arriving at his uncle’s bleak Scottish house, young David Balfour (Lawrence Douglas –The Last Place on Earth) plans to claim his family inheritance, yet is first nearly murdered and then shipped off to be sold as a slave in the colonies by his relative. However, he strikes up a friendship with Breck, who is on the run from Bonny Prince Charlie’s defeat at Culloden – and surviving attempts on his own life by the ship’s captain. The two then hatch a plan to get to land, and then Edinburgh – but must stay ahead of the merciless Redcoats if they are to stay alive…
